This is used by any public and private sector organisations when short listing contractors, suppliers and consultants (companies) who apply to work for them. To get on the list applicants must meet client standards for placement in areas of technical ability, equalities, insurance cover, environment and health and safety.
Approved Contractors Scheme is designed to maintain a register of electrical contractors that have been assessed against a specific set of requirements, in particular the national electrical safety standard BS 7671 the IEE wiring regulations. The NICEIC Approved Contractor Scheme is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to EN 45011.
Is the UK’S largest register for pre-qualified contactors and consultants. They provide the pre-qualification tool for use in financial standing, technical references, CHAS group supports the principles of a single register and works jointly with Construction line.
Is the official body recognised by government to approve solid fuel domestic heating appliances, fuels and services. The HETAS guide lists registered Installers how have been trained and assessed in safety and good practice.
Competent person’s schemes gives our company engineers the right to Self Certify their installation and commissioning works, and to notify these works through the OFTEC Works Notification System.
